Inspired by the memorable soaps of Provence, and intrigued by the benefits to the skin that olive oil can impart, I used olive oil produced from Napa Valley olives to develop a soap formulation that combines rich creaminess, abundant lather, and the emollient properties of olive oil, with a pure and intense proprietary fragrance called ‘Citrine’. The triple-milled Daphne Araujo Olive Oil Soap is offered in a decorative box of either a set of three 3-ounce bars or as a single 7-ounce bath bar, suitable for a gift or for personal use. The soaps are one more aspect of the diversity that comes from the Mediterranean climate of Napa Valley.
